Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.
I will meet you there.

Meet Prema
I’m not here to tell you how to fix yourself.
I’m here to remind you that you’re not broken.
My name is Jennifer (Prema) McKeever, and I’ve spent the last two decades supporting people through the deep, courageous work of healing—because I know this terrain intimately. Not just through books or trainings (though there have been many), but by walking through my own trauma, grief, and transformation.
What’s always inspired me is the profound interconnectedness of mind and body—and the limitless possibility of the human heart. I believe, at our core, that the purpose of life is to awaken, activate, and live from that possibility.
And for that awakening to unfold, we must be willing to peel back the layers—of trauma, old hurts, and conditioning—etched into the psyche and held in the body.
My own journey through chronic pain, emotional struggles, and a deep disconnection from myself and my purpose informs everything I offer. It was this path that led me into the world of Chinese Medicine, where I earned my first Master’s degree and spent over 15 years in clinical practice in San Francisco and Dallas. During those years, I developed a refined ability to listen—not just to what people say, but to what their bodies carry. I began to understand how trauma lives in the nervous system, how the body speaks what the heart cannot, and how healing unfolds when we learn to truly attune.
That deep listening eventually guided me toward more integrative and somatic approaches. I earned a second Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Spirituality and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #24880) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C. #11242608). Today, I blend modern psychotherapeutic insights with body-based and trauma-informed methods to help people reconnect with their bodies, their truth, and their innate capacity for transformation.
What guides and inspires me most is the possibility of awakening our fullest human potential. My spiritual path, particularly through the Diamond Approach, has deeply shaped how I see healing—not just as the absence of pain but as a return to the essential qualities of who we truly are—qualities like presence, strength, compassion, joy, and truth that are already within us, waiting to be remembered.
As a faculty member for BBTRS® (Biodynamic Breath and Trauma Release System) and a leader of Path of Love, I lead transformational processes around the world, while also creating online programs that support people in healing trauma and embodying the deeper truth of who they are.
What lights me up is witnessing others rediscover their aliveness—not in spite of their pain, but because they’ve dared to meet it with presence and heart.
This work isn’t easy. But it’s sacred. And it’s my honor to walk alongside those who are ready to go deep.
Welcome to the journey of a lifetime.
